Why I want to help you!

Hey mama,

I’m sure we have all asked ourselves how we ended up where we are now. I know for me as an undergrad getting a bachelor's degree in psychology I never thought I would be at my age with multiple degrees working as a coach, personal trainer and in a run specialty shop.

So, how did I get here? It was not a linear path by any means! After college I took a couple of years before I went and got a Masters in School Counseling, a career that I thought I would LOVE! I wanted to be able to help kids in a school setting, then I realized after doing my internship that it wasn't what I wanted to do. Thankfully I had been working at a run specialty shop and was loving it! I got to work full time helping people get into the right shoes AND I started coaching beginner runners! It was my jam! To help with my coaching I got certified by the Road Runner’s Club of America (RRCA), which helped a lot. I loved coaching the beginners and seeing their progress as they worked towards goal races. However, after having my first child I took on a different role at the store as the Event Coordinator and Race Director, also a position I really enjoyed too.

Fast forward a little, I took some time away from the store to be with my family (this was before I found out I was having twins), then that giant “blip” happened and it made more sense for me to stay home. During this time I thought I wanted to build my Arbonne business and it just didn’t feel quite right for me. So, I decided I wanted to help moms get fit again and I signed up to get my Personal Training Certificate through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also got re-certified through the RRCA as well as getting some other certifications through National Academy of Sports Medicine.  All of these certifications allow me to help perimenopausal women to get running again, to get fit again and be in the bodies they want to be in.
